Junior Farmers in Niagara began in Welland in 1918. At one time there were clubs in both Welland (Niagara South) and Lincoln Counties (Niagara North). The Niagara club is currently re-forming in 2008 and has already had several successful sports nights in local school gyms, a learn to curl afternoon, and a bowling night, and has volunteered to help 4-H. More social events are planned for this summer.
