Angela works in the northern UK as an account manager and for a farm diversification business. She has been a member of Young Farmers for five years. Angela enjoys a wide variety of activities including walking, crafts, cooking and meeting new people. She is looking forward to visiting Toronto and Niagara Falls.

Katy has been a member of Young Farmers for ten years. She is trained in agricultural and environmental management. Katy grew up on a beef, sheep and crop farm. Katy’s interests include photography and swimming. Katy would like to see Niagara Falls and the Great Lakes during her stay in Ontario.

Nadine grew up on an organic vegetable and horse farm. She currently works as a receptionist. Nadine is interested in staying on a variety of farms and would like to spend some time with children. She is looking forward to white water rafting and driving around to enjoy the countryside.

Lisa is leaving her job as a legal secretary to explore more of what the world has to offer. She grew up on a dairy farm about an hour away from Glasgow. Lisa has been a member of Young Farmers for six years and has been involved in many competitions. Lisa says she isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty and is looking forward to all the sights in Ontario.

Olivia works as a dog handler in a fox eradication program down under. Olivia has been a member of Western Tiers for the past four years. Olivia enjoys horse riding and camping. She is interested in learning more about beef farming, weed and pest control and Canadian heritage an culture, during her exchange.

David is a dairy farmer and sales representative for Semex. Young Farmers plays a big role in David’s life. He also enjoys many sports and socializing. David is looking forward to visiting dairy farms and seeing some high pedigree cattle.

Sabrina is studying to become a primary school teacher. She has been a member of Landjugend for eleven years. Sabrina has worked and travelled around Australia and is looking forward to visiting the CN Tower, Niagara Falls and exploring nature.

Linda is finishing her studies in accounting and will be starting work with Ernst and Young when she returns from Canada. Linda has been a member of Young Farmers since she was fourteen and has held many different positions. Growing up, Linda lived on a sheep an dairy farm. Linda says she is looking forward to meeting new people and experiencing Canadian culture.
