The new Wellington JF includes many members of Erin JF and graduates of the University of Guelph JF. Clubs have been active in Wellington since 1918, with 21 clubs in the county at one time in 1927.

So far this year the club has had a lot of fun running a fundraising spaghetti dinner in Drayton, gym nights, and an afternoon of ball in Moorefield, and helping the Optimists plant trees. Wellington JF is also experimenting with having a food booth, with the first one at the Erin Rodeo, along with the new Dufferin JF.
