Halfway through my trip!
In a very short amount of time I have done so many things, met so many people and experienced the life in Scotland. I have stayed with 2 different hosts, one in the north and one in the east. For the 5 days I spent in the north in Leslie, Aberdeenshire, I Toured a whiskey distillery, grain elevator, my host families farms, Livestock market, dairy, pig and deer farms, went for a hike up a hill to take in the incredible views of the countryside… and even took a picture with the famous Aberdeen angus bull! For the next week of my trip, I was in Milnathort Perthshire with my 2nd hosts! We spent a day at the West Fife show, went to the horse races, toured a Christmas tree farm, horse breeding farm, couple of vegetable farms helped roll wool during sheep Shearing, helped with Peony roses harvest and packaging as well as shorting eggs and even participated in the Bell Baxter car treasure hunt! The first half of my trip has been truly amazing and this is just a small list of everything that I have been able to experience on this trip so far and I look forward to all that I still have yet to see!
