In 2010 Durham West completed a number of community betterment projects. The first project that Durham West completed was a food drive for their local food bank. The next project the club held was to educate students on agriculture. Through the Farms Connections Board, members volunteered to speak at local public schools. Lastly, members of the Durham West club helped to raise funds for their county’s 4-H Exchange group.

Durham West Junior Farmer members are involved in their community and have volunteered with Farm Connections.
